Thanks for coming to my blog! I am a wife (aka. best friend), mommy, Mormon, future full time homemaker, and a crafter-in-the-making! Currently I am working full time, and my sweet husband stays home with our daughter. However, in about 30 days (I am counting) my husband will start working and I will be able to be a stay-at-home mom...A DREAM COME TRUE!!! It is something I have wanted to do since I was a little girl. I was one of those girls that named her dolls and put them to bed every night. Ever since my daughter was born in 2009 I have wanted to stay home with her, but since my husband was finishing school, and then he wasn't able to find a job. I just kept working. It has been a challenge for both of us to fulfill the roles that the other wishes to be doing ... but it has made for a strong marriage, and I know we will be better off in the future.
I started this blog because I needed a place to put all the crafty ideas that I wanted to do at some point in my life. But then I thought it would also be nice to show off my crafty accomplished. I think everyone deserves a couple seconds to brag about their accomplishments. Even if it is something as simple as doing laundry AND folding it, or as grand as making my daughter a pillow-buddy-puppy that she absolutely adores.
